Baba Vanga and Living Nostradamus' terrifying predictions that have come true in 2025

Fortune tellers, Baba Vanga and Living Nostradamus are said to have made a number of accurate predictions about the future - including a catastrophic event for 2025

With the ever-looming threat of WW3, people could be forgiven for looking into otherworldly predictions for clues as to what is to come. Especially when prophets such as the late Baba Vanga and Living Nostradamus appear to have been right in recent months.

Fortune teller, Baba Vanga had predicted a devastating global event in 2025 which has already happened following a catastrophic earthquake. The clairvoyant had foreseen disastrous earthquakes in the future.

Earlier this month, a natural disaster of 7.7 magnitude in Thailand and Myanmar claimed the lives of around 2,000 people. The Bulgarian mystic, born as Vangeliya Pandeva Gushterova, passed away at the age of 84 in 1996. Blind since early childhood, she professed to have acquired her abilities during a severe storm and successfully predicted events like 9/11, Princess Diana's death, and global warming incidents such as widespread flooding.

Often referred to as the 'Nostradamus of the Balkans', Baba Vanga is thought to have had visions so precise that 85% of them have been proven accurate. Since her demise, more of her predictions have materialised - including 2025 being a year of destructive earthquakes.

Her prediction sadly came true - not only were Myanmar and Thailand affected, but the Oceania nation Tonga also experienced an earthquake of 7.1 magnitude, leading to a tsunami warning for the Pacific Island country.

And just last week, "Living Nostradamus" boasted his terrifying prophecy about a large-scale cyber-attack in the China Sea has taken an "alarming new twist".

Athos Salomé, who says he predicted Covid-19, the death of Queen Elizabeth II and Russia's invasion of Ukraine, told the Daily Star his 2023 forecast could come true after China revealed a tool capable of cutting submarine cables 4,000 metres under the sea.

The Brazilian 'prophet', 38, warned the Chinese "tool" could "sabotage an adversary's communications infrastructure with firing a single shot" and essentially "redefine modern battles" as world tensions sky rocket following Donald Trump's tariff trade war.

He said: "Submarine cables are the invisible arteries of global communication, carrying 95% of internet data.

"Cutting or manipulating them could cause a collapse in international communications, destabilising economies, financial systems and military networks. While Beijing claims that the tool is intended for civilian purposes, security experts warn of its military potential, predicting its use in geopolitical conflicts as part of a hybrid war.

"The South China Sea region is already the scene of territorial disputes and rivalries between powers such as the United States and China.

"With the rise of cyber warfare, the possibility of invisible attacks is becoming even more concrete. Sabotaging an adversary's communications infrastructure without firing a single shot is a strategy that redefines modern battles."

Salomé claims he possesses unique abilities that go beyond the normal human capacity for divination. His predictions, which are confirmed through global developments, move in chronological time in a similar way to undisclosed signs.

He gave a warning about a huge digital disruption that would hit the China Sea in 2024. During this period, his message seemed vague, but the discovery of the Chinese tool turned his prediction into reality.

In recent months, Salomé has claimed other predictions have come true.

Back in January, he eerily laid claim to warning California would be struck by a devastating fire.

He told the Daily Star: "From Tuesday 7 January 2025, the city of Los Angeles has been experiencing its worst ever wildfires. The winds have continued with flames, destroying the thousands of hectares of land, even property and made people of tens of thousands evacuate their houses.

Continuing to comment on his own prediction., the seer said: "This is what makes this disaster even more remarkable, especially in that my prediction was a hundred-percent precise. Interviews conducted in particular at the turn of December 2023 I predicted that from the 2024 the world would observe a ‘sharp rise in global catastrophes connected to fire’.

"I directly pointed at California, which meant that conditions for these occurrences were building up, and their outcomes would be disastrous."

And in February, he issued a stark and haunting warning that hybrid humans will be superior to real humans and it's going to happen this year.

He said the Japanese government decided to grant authorisation for research into human-animal hybrid embryos in 2019. This began to hit the headlines last year.

He says this research will "be realised" this year and will create an "extraordinary worldwide moral crisis".

While Baba Vanga's earthquake prediction was eerily accurate, her other prophecies are equally alarming. She has also predicted "cruel wars" and a global "apocalypse" for the coming year.

She described one of these events as a conflict on mainland Europe, suggesting that a new war would erupt in 2025 between two nations, with the consequences felt worldwide.

Interestingly, Baba Vanga's predictions for the upcoming year align with those of another renowned seer, Nostradamus. Despite living centuries apart - Nostradamus died in 1566 - it appears they both foresaw similar events for 2025.

Several forecasts made by the 16th-century prophet, whose real name was Michel de Nostredame, in his book Les Prophéties have come to pass in the years since its publication. The French soothsayer is believed to have accurately foreseen the rise of Adolf Hitler, the assassination of President John F Kennedy, the onset of the Covid pandemic, and even the cost of living crisis in 2022.

Nostradamus used star alignments to make his future predictions, and when looking at 2025 from half a millennium ago, he warned that 'those from the lands of Europe' would become entangled in 'cruel wars'. Worryingly, he added that the UK would be involved, while also noting that: "The ancient plague will be worse than enemies."
