No. 6 Georgia 7, No. 1 Arkansas 6: ATHENS, Ga. – The Bulldogs built a 6-2 lead and held on to beat the Razorbacks (32-4, 12-2) who stranded 10 runners.
Ryland Zaborowski and Robbie Burnett hit homers for the Bulldogs (31-6, 9-5) who had 12 hits with Zaborowski having three, while Burnett, Devin Obee and Nolan McCarthy each had two. Burnett had a two-run shot in the second inning to make it 5-1. Zaborowski added a solo shot in the third. Kuhio Aloy and Ryder Helfrick hit homers for Arkansas.
Kentucky 5, No. 2 Texas 4 (15 innings): LEXINGTON, Ky. – Devin Burkes scored from first with no outs in the 15th to give the Wildcats (19-13, 6-8) the walk-off victory. Griffin Cameron had a bunt single and a throwing error by the catcher allowed Burkes to score.
Ethan Hindle hit a leadoff homer in the ninth to force extra innings.
Both teams used six pitchers. UT’s Thomas Burns pitched the last four innings, allowing three hits. The Longhorns struck out 16 and walked only one.
Jalin Flores hit a two-run homer for UT (28-5, 12-2) and Rylan Galvan had a solo shot.
No. 12 Auburn 4, No. 3 LSU 2: AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn (25-10, 8-6) had a trio of doubles in a two-run fourth inning with Ike Irish and Cooper McMurray knocking in runs. Eric Snow added a two-run, two-out homer an inning later, knocking in Bristol Carter who had a leadoff walk.
Starting pitcher Cade Fisher (1-0) got the victory with five innings of work, striking out six and walking one. Ryan Hetlzer got his fourth save with 2 1/3 innings.
LSU (31-5, 10-4) had eight hits, two walks and three hit batters, but stranded 11, going 1 for 10 with runners in scoring position.
No. 10 Alabama 4, Mississippi State 1: TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Richie Bonomolo Jr. had a two-run double and a sacrifice fly to plate three runs, while Jason Torres added an RBI single to account for all the scoring by the Crimson Tide (29-7, 8-6).
The Bulldogs (21-14, 4-10) took the lead on Gehrig Frei’s homer to start the game.
Both teams had nine hits. Starting pitcher Riley Quick (5-1) went 5 1/3 innings for the victory, allowing six hits with seven strikeouts and no walks. Carson Ozmer, the fourth reliever, pitched a scoreless ninth for his 11th save.
No. 19 Oklahoma 14, No. 14 Vanderbilt 0: NORMAN, Okla. – The Sooners (25-9, 7-7) scored in five of six at-bats to win the game via the run-rule. OU had nine hits and took advantage of nine walks and five hit batters.
Easton Carmichael was 2 for 4 with five RBIs, including a three-run homer. Dasan Harris and Dawson Willis each drove in three runs. Willis had a three-run homer to cap a seven-run fourth inning. Harris was 3 for 4.
The Commodores (25-10, 7-7) had two singles.
No. 7 Ole Miss 8, No. 4 Tennessee 5: OXFORD, Miss. – The Vols scored first on Gavin Kilen’s solo homer, but the Rebels answered with three runs in the bottom of the first inning, taking advantage of back-to-back one-out walks.
The Rebels (27-8, 9-5) scored in four more innings, getting solo homers from Luke Hill and Austin Fawley to hold off the Vols (30-5, 10-4) and even the series.
Both teams had nine hits. Tennessee also had a solo homer by Levi Clark in the second inning and a two-run shot by Dalton Bargo in the sixth inning. Kilen was 3 for 4.
After Bargo pulled Tennessee within 5-4, the Rebels added two runs in the bottom of the sixth, taking advantage of the first two batters reaching on a walk and error.
Florida 5-3, Missouri 0-2: GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Brendan Lawson had a walk-off RBI single to give the Gators a sweep of a pair of seven-inning games.
Blake Cyr hit a two-run homer in the fourth inning to erase a 1-0 Missouri lead the Tigers had on Pierre Seals’ homer in the second inning.
Florida scored three runs in the sixth inning in the opener Aidan King (4-1) to the victory with 5 2/3 innings He allowed four hits, striking out seven with a walk.
Florida (24-14, 4-11) outhit Missouri 8-4 with the Tigers (12-23, 0-15) having only singles, while the Gators had three hits for extra bases.
