Driftwood man arrested after police find drugs, cash, and stolen firearms in home

A 37-year-old man was arrested in Driftwood Tuesday after authorities discovered "significant quantities" of drugs and money in the residence.

Raymond Hartoin was booked into the Hays County Jail on multiple charges with bonds totaling $254,000, according to the Hays County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's Repeat Offender Program Unit executed an arrest warrant and narcotics search warrant at the residence on Brownson Lane.

Authorities seized methamphetamine, cocaine, MDMA, ketamine, THC, marijuana and U.S. currency during the search. Multiple firearms and ammunition were also confiscated, including two stolen weapons — one reported stolen from Hays County and another from Georgetown.

Hartoin faces 10 counts of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and two counts of theft of a firearm, in addition to being held on an unrelated warrant.
