Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – JPES Partners, Julius Baer

The latest moves, appointments and personnel changes among wealth management and related organisations in the UK, the rest of Europe, the Middle East, Africa and select international locations.

JPES Partners
London-headquartered JPES Partners, a specialist consultancy in the investment management sector, has appointed Joanna Stocks as an independent consultant.

Stocks brings experience in portfolio management, institutional investment and senior leadership, with expertise in multi-asset, liquid alternatives, private markets and investment governance. Most recently, she was director of alternatives and private markets at St James’s Place Wealth Management.

Previously, Stocks worked at Aberdeen and M&G. She has held a number of senior portfolio management positions in alternative investment strategies and multi-manager teams.

"Joanna’s appointment further strengthens our advisory services to the investment management industry,” Miles Donohoe, managing mirector of JPES Partners, said. “Her strong track record of working across both alternative investment strategies and wealth management audiences, combined with a keen focus on business development strategy, will be invaluable to our clients as they navigate new distribution channels and asset classes."

Julius Baer
Julius Baer has appointed Michael Martin as a relationship manager, primarily to advise clients on digital assets, WealthBriefing can confirm.

Based in Zurich, Martin announced his appointment on his Linkedin page. A spokesperson for Julius Baer also confirmed his appointment when asked about the matter.

Prior to his new role, he was global head of B2B sales and partnerships, and managing director, at AMINA Bank, a lender specialising in the digital assets space. Working there for less than a year, Martin was previously at Kimura Capital for 10 years in the UK, and before that, he had a two-year stint at HSBC in Geneva. He also worked as a director for two years at LGT in the private banking and asset management business in Zurich.
