ONE of the largest and most prominent retail conglomerates in Papua New Guinea (PNG) is looking for investment opportunities in Fiji.

CPL Group – PNG Head of Pharmacy Pradeep Panda informed the Fiji-PNG Business Mission delegation that the company had been supplying pharmaceuticals in Fiji for nearly two decades.

He said the company now sought to establish a medical equipment and laboratory business in Fiji, believing it would contribute to the improvement of healthcare in the country.

Founded in 1987 by Fiji-born Sir Mahesh Patel who moved to PNG in 1984, CPL Group has grown into a diverse business entity with a strong presence across various sectors, including retail, healthcare, and hardware.

Meanwhile, BSP Financial Group (Fiji) Pte Ltd (BSP) is supporting the Fiji-PNG Business Mission 2025 as a co-sponsor of the official networking event.

This investment underscores its dedication to fostering economic growth and strengthening ties between Fiji and Papua New Guinea.
