Western Illinois University approves cost increases

MOLINE/MACOMB, Ill. (KWQC) - The Western Illinois University Board of Trustees approved an increase in tuition, housing and dining costs.
The board to increase tuition by two percent per credit hour for new undergraduate and graduate students.
Undergraduates will pay around $343 per credit hour in the 2025-2026 school year, which is an increase from the former $336 per credit hour in the 2024-2025 school year.
The board also approved the contract of WIU president Kristi Mindrup who was named full-time president in December.
