A fantastic sponsored day was held at AMBC by Harcourts Martens & Associates recently.
Sandy Aiken-Rose, a financial advisor, was instrumental in arranging this wonderful day of bowls, and the competition and comradeship was outstanding.
The club thanks Sandy.
The winners were Mike Eley, Liesje de Rosner, Helen Turk and Derek Hodge. Runners-up were Keith and Beryl Findlay, Marietjie van Wyk and Henry Hampson.
In third place were Shirley Tucker, Linda Hudson, Erna Herbst and Colin Hudson.
In the Men’s Trips sponsored by J Leslie Smith on March 6, winners on 4+26 were Corrie van Aswegan, Beryl Findlay and Steve Fourie, with runners-up on 4+19 Bob Elliott, Pierre van Wyk and Mike Eley.
Second session winners on 2+14 were Alan Munn, Chris van der Merwe and Hugh Martin.
