They received the recognition by meeting certain requirements based on production in the areas of property, casualty and life insurance.

The two were honored, along with other Farm Bureau agents, at Texas Leaders held Friday, Feb. 28 and Saturday, March 1, at JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa. They were accompanied by their spouses at a welcome dinner on Friday, Feb. 28, and a banquet on Saturday, March 1.

Newberry started his career with Farm Bureau Insurance in 2016 as an agent in Karnes County, where he worked from July 1, 2016, until April 1, 2019. Following that role, he transitioned to agency manager for Goliad and Refugio Counties. This is his 5th time to be recognized as an outstanding professional. He said, “It’s very rewarding, because having successful agents means I am a successful agency manager. I am very proud for Toni Rodriguez, she works hard.”

Rodriguez, who became a Farm Bureau agent eight years ago said, “This was my first Texas Leaders and it was such a rewarding experience. It actually motivated me to work even harder in 2025. I am grateful for all my clients who trust me to help them with something so important. I enjoy what I do!
