Assistant Foreign Minister for European Affairs, Ambassador Ehab Nasr, affirmed the keenness of the General Authority for Investment to overcome the obstacles facing investors and solve their problems, pointing out to the importance that Egypt attaches to attracting Dutch investors, as the volume of Dutch investments in Egypt ranks third among foreign investments, with total investments of about "4.7 billion dollars in 2022".

This came during the round of Egyptian-Dutch political consultations held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Cairo, headed by Ambassador Ehab Nasr, and Paul Huijts, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Netherlands.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said - on its official page on "Facebook" today, Friday - that the two sides addressed all aspects of bilateral relations, especially political, economic and cultural ones, they also discussed ways to open a broader horizon for their relations and strengthen them in new areas.

The two sides agreed on the importance of continuing political consultations, exchanging visits and meetings at various levels between the two countries to consult and exchange views on issues of common concern, and to address outstanding issues in a constructive manner.
