Because for some people owning a vehicle is so yesterday, carmakers had no other choice but to offer all sorts of alternatives gradually. Because no one is reinventing the wheel, companies have noticed that the subscription model works very well in other fields.

The far-reaching Stellantis Group is already well involved in the field, and its latest venture into the rental territory comes in the form of Leasys Miles Maserati. In case you didn’t know, Leasys is not only a Stellantis brand but also a subsidiary of FCA Bank, which in turn is a “50:50 joint venture between Stellantis and Crédit Agricole” established way back in 2001.

As such, Leasys has been offering all sorts of mobility choices from within the group, so people could enjoy renting just about anything, from a Fiat 500 to Citroën, Peugeot, or Opel vehicles. It didn’t offer a premium listing, though, until now.

The company says their Leasys Miles product has chosen the luxurious path of the Trident from now on, “combining flexibility and elegance made in Italy as Leasys’s long-term pay-per-use rental adds the prestigious Maserati Ghibli and Levante.

With these services, pricing is always of paramount importance, and at first glance, the monthly fee seems incredibly attractive, especially when compared with other offers from premium rivals. As such, Leasys Miles is charging European customers just €929 (a mere $1,112 at the current exchange rates), including VAT. Better yet, the fee doesn’t change for the first 48 months.

On the other hand, after the first 1,000 km (621 miles), customers in Italy, Germany, the UK, France, and Spain will also have to pay either 9- or 18-euro cents ($0.11/$0.22) for each kilometer (0.62 miles) driven, depending on the package they chose (Miles or Miles Plus).
