No charges yet after fight turns deadly in Downtown Pittsburgh hotel

Pittsburgh police said they will consult with the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office on whether charges will be filed after a fight turned deadly inside of the Hotel Monaco on William Penn Place in Downtown Pittsburgh.
The incident happened a little after 2:30 a.m. Saturday.
A man was critically injured during the fight and taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
He has been identified as Jacob E. Brown, 41, of Burgettstown.
Police said they have conducted interviews with the people involved, as well as witnesses.
Investigators also said the people involved did not know each other.
