Jeffrey S. Smith Joins Mortgage Search and Acquisition

Dallas, Texas - October 5, 2009 -- Dallas based Mortgage Search & Acquisition (MSA) announced today that Jeffrey S. Smith will be joining the company as Senior Vice President. Smith has held executive leadership roles in the mortgage industry spanning 25 years. A graduate of Arizona State University, Smith later went on to attend The Thunderbird School of International Management in Japanese Studies and Language.

In 1986, Smith accepted his first Regional Management role with Banc Plus Mortgage of San Antonio, Texas. He later started a region for CTX Mortgage in the South West. Smith also held the position of Senior VP - Western US, for Metrocities Mortgage of Los Angeles., In 2002 Smith started his own mortgage banking firm, JSSmith Mortgage, LLC which was later sold to a commercial bank.

Smith emphasizes one of his main roles in Production Management was his ability to recruit people nationally. All of his assignments began with little or no production, necessitating the need for developing an extensive database spanning several states. Smith points to his track record of growing production to over $2 billion annually from the ground up. "The key to growth and success lies solely on the team you build" Smith says.

Coffey commented, "I am excited about Jeffrey joining MSA. His reputation within the industry and passion for delivering performance based results will clearly be an asset to MSA and to our clients. Coffey went on to say, "Jeffrey has been an MSA client for over 20 years - we've been recruiting candidates together since 1987. He understands the importance of identifying, vetting and securing Impact Players. I'm certain that Jeffrey's knowledge of the inner workings of mortgage finance is something our clients will benefit from."

MSA specializes solely within the mortgage banking and financial services industry, providing over 25 years of experience in Executive Recruiting and Acquisition Services to its national client base.

For more information, please contact Tami Coffey at 214-733-8989 or go to MSA's website, www.MSArecruiting.com. Jeffrey Smith may be reached through MSA's Phoenix office at 480-419-2720.
