According to Baby, he doesn’t plan on unleashing a deluxe version this time, either, bucking a trend that has become commonplace among many artists in the streaming era.

“Finally Turned My Album In,” Lil Baby wrote. “23 songs 7 Features No Deluxe.”

This is the latest significant piece of news Lil Baby has given fans since going into full rollout mode last month when he dropped a single titled “Detox” and formally announced the new album’s title, It’s Only Me.

In the same announcement, he also shared the release date and the official cover art, which shows the rapper smoking weed and sitting on a rock surrounded by a few goats. In the clouds above, Baby’s face can be seen taking shape.

It’s Only Me follows Lil Baby’s 2020 4x-platinum blockbuster My Turn, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 moving 97,000 album-equivalent units, becoming his first chart-topping album. The album topped the chart for five weeks and in March became the longest-running album to stay inside the Top 10 of Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
